In December, United Way of Greater New Bedford was awarded an APEX Award from One SouthCoast Chamber. The APEX Awards recognizes the achievements, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and contributions businesses make to the creation of job opportunities and the economic development of the region.
One SouthCoast Chamber awards four APEX Awards annually at their annual meeting. Other recipients included: Bristol Community College, Large Business; Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Small Business; and Diman High School, Education. United Way was recognized in the Non-profit category.
